This is wellness on an energetic level. These therapies help open up your energy so it can flow, releasing blockages that can cause physical and emotionl pain.
rn, reiki master, healing touch and essential oils practitioner (including raindrop technique)
My practice started around the year 2000. I have taken four levels of Healing Touch and I am a Reiki Master. Teaching Reiki is truly one of my great loves! I use essential oils in my energy practice as well as doing the Raindrop Technique which is great for relaxation and medicinal purposes.
My purpose is to help people put their lives into balance and peacefulness. My practice is client-based with an emphasis on the client being responsible and in full control of the direction they want to take their life. Our journey together is one of light, energy, and joy, with a little fun thrown in as well!
Sessions are by appointment only and are available Wednesday through Friday. The cost for the energy work is $60 for between 45 and 60 minutes with the first session being a little longer due to meeting each other and chatting. My Raindrop Therapy is $65 and it lasts approxiametly one hour. For more information and to schedule, you are welcome to call me at 517-812-1388.
Reiki is a form of energy healing that can help alleviate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual stress. It is a way to ‘tune-up’ your energy to it’s healthiest state allowing for healing to take place. Reiki is a gentle and safe healing practice that is geared towards removing any energy blocks in our system caused by emotional, mental or physical stress and pain. During a Reiki session, a practitioner places his or her hands on the client with the intention of the Reiki Energy to flow. A person may feel heat, tingling or cooling sensations as blocks are removed. Most all clients get to a deep state of peace and relaxation during a session. Reiki philosophy is based on the body's ability to heal itself naturally once energy blocks are removed. Reiki is not tied to any religion or a particular spiritual belief system and can never cause harm.

"Raindrop technique is a powerful, non-invasive tool for assisting the body in correcting defects in the curvature of the spine. During the years that it has been practiced, it has resolved numerous cases of scoliosis and kyphosis and eliminated the need for back surgery for thousands of people. Raindrop Technique originated in the 1980s from the research of Dr. Gary Young working with a Lakota medicine man named Wallace Black Elk. It integrates Vitaflex technique with the power of essential oils in bringing the body into structural and electrical alignment." (from the Essential Oils Desk Reference)
Raindrop Technique uses a sequence of essential oils that are immune enhancing, support the body's natural defenses, as well as the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, digestive, nervous, and other body systems. These oils, which are high in antioxidants, are also mood elevating and antiseptic, creating an unfavorable environment for harmful viruses and bacteria that can hibernate in the body. Essential oils are known to boost stamina and energy, help you relax, help manage stress and frustration and promote overall health, vitality, and longevity. The principal single oils used include:
- Thyme (Thymus vulgaris)
- Oregano (Origanum compactum)
- Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens)
- Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens)
- Peppermint (Mentha piperita)
- Basil (Ocimum basilicum)
- Marjoram (Origanum majorana)
The oils are dispensed in little drops from a height of about six inches above the back, which is where Raindrop Technique gets its name. They are then massaged along the spine and back muscles. They are also applied to the feet.
The whole process takes about an hour and may continue to work in the body for up to one week following a Raindrop Session, with possible realignment and bodily adjustment taking place during this time.
